This years event features a Grand Procession and street festival (on 4th Street from Colorado to Brazos) with artist vendors, live music, and food trucks. Art activities for children and families are available in the neighboring Frost Bank Tower Plaza, where the public can take pictures with parade props, including large-scale moving sculptures and mojigangas. This event is co-sponsored by the City of Austin.

This year’s festival grounds includes Brazos Hall, featuring a Members Cocktail Lounge and expanded programming. This event is co-sponsored by the City of Austin.
Viva la Vida Festival takes place on October 31, 2015 from 12 – 8pm in downtown Austin. This year’s event features a grand procession, artist vendors, live music, a grand float by local piñata artisans from Jumpolin Piñatas, an exhibition with community altars inside the Museum, and educational programs. Attendees can choose food from Chi’Lantro and Veracruz All Natural, hands-on art activities from our Education Department, and artist demos. The event is co-sponsored by the City of Austin.
