Rosas y Revelaciones: Homage to la Virgen de Guadalupe Opening Reception

Join Mexic-Arte Museum for the Opening Reception ofRosas y Revelaciones: Homage to la Virgen de Guadalupe on Friday, April 7th from 6-9 PM. This is an exhibition celebrating one of Mexico’s most enduring spiritual and cultural icons. Featuring wearable and textile works by artists from 16 states across Mexico, the exhibition explores devotion, identity, and innovation through garments inspired by La Virgen de Guadalupe.
Changarrito Residency: Carla Santillana

April 1st – 30th, 2026
Carla Santillana is an artist and art educator from Brownsville, Texas, based in San Antonio. Working across oil painting, stitched textile collage, and works on paper, she balances studio practice with community engagement and arts education. Santillana holds a Master’s in Art Education from Texas Tech University and a Bachelor’s in Art Education from the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley.
