September is a busy month for Mexic-Arte Museum. We just completed the Mexico City Art Tour, during which participants enjoyed visiting multiple museums and learning about Mexican art and culture in one of the world’s largest city.

The fall season is coming with much excitement! This year marks Mexic-Arte Museum’s 31st Anniversary of providing excellent exhibitions and programs in Austin. We will celebrate these accomplishments with the Gala del Museo – the Catrina Ball on October 17, 2015.

Unlike festivities in Mexico, diverse communities in the United States have embraced Cinco de Mayo as a day to celebrate Mexican heritage and culture. For nine years from 2000 to 2008, Mexic-Arte Museum has organized the Taste of Mexico Culinary Arts Festival.
