Changarrito Residency: Emily Bryn
Growing up as a Mexican, queer, girl in a multigenerational household, I've always had an insatiable need to learn more about the ways I can best care for the communities I belong to. Emily Bryn featured their artwork on the Changarrito cart outside the Museum’s entrance on October 21-22 and October 28-29, 2023.

Changarrito Residency: Mauro Murillo
Mauro Murillo was born in Coahuila, Mexico and moved to San Antonio, Texas in 1995. During high school, he enjoyed the SAY Sà art program where he explored creating art in different mediums including graphite, charcoal, aluminum, paper mâché, papel picado, and others. Mauro Murillo featured their artwork on the Changarrito cart outside the Museum’s entrance on November 11-12 and November 18-19, 2023.
