Established in 2009, the Mexican American Cultural Center Awards of Excellence recognize Austin Latinos for the highest artistic excellence in the cultural arts for demonstrated distinguished service, leadership, dedication, outstanding performance and lasting contributions.

I am thrilled to invite the public to participate in Mexic-Arte Museum’s annual Mexico City Art Tour this upcoming summer, which offers a panoramic survey of Mexican art and culture in the western hemisphere’s largest metropolis. 

The Museum is thrilled to announce its annual Taste of Mexico 2016 occurring April 27^th from 6—9 pm at Brazos Hall. Taste of Mexico is an evening of Mexican-inspired food and beverage samplings from over 30 of Austin’s best restaurants, food trucks, and vendors.

On Feb 17, 2016 the Texas Mexico Restaurant Association held a reception hosted by Joel Munguia, Owner at Verde’s Restaurant in Round Rock, to announce and recognize the contributions and members of the new Advisory Board 2016 to 2018. 

I would like to thank the Board of Directors for their leadership and support, as well as our dedicated and professional staff and volunteers for making these exhibits, programs, and events possible. Thank you also to all our supporters and sponsors. 2016 promises to be just as exciting! 

As we complete 2015, we are grateful for an amazing year at Mexic-Arte Museum with many accomplishments and successes.
