Within the 5th Street District boundaries, there are numerous opportunities for visitors of all ages to engage with educational activations and historical information. Showcasing some of Austin’s most significant cultural, historical, and artistic assets, organizations within the district are committed to educate the general public on the importance of Austin’s unique history. Ranging from exhibition tours and activations to classes and public events, the opportunities provided along the 5th Street corridor make for abundant educational experiences for tourists and locals alike.
