Viva La Vida is Austin’s largest and longest running Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) festival, and one of the most artistic and creative in the country.
Fall Brings Exciting Exhibits and Events! Mexic-Arte Museum working with many artists and organizations will present exhibitions, a major festival and parade, workshops in the schools, artist residencies, family days, events and more throughout the fall!

The Cinco de Mayo Luncheon on April 25th at the beautiful Thompson Hotel gathered downtown businesses and stakeholders to celebrate, promote, and learn about the Mexic-Arte Museum, the Cinco de Mayo historic event, and the 5th Street Mexican American Heritage Corridor.
