This workshop will be hosted by teaching artists Jonas Petkus and Rachel Ditzig. Come learn how to make paper puppets and crowns!Â
About Our Teaching Artists:
Jonas Petkus was born in Idaho and raised in a small town in New York. He has been drawing and painting since he was a kid and went on to study art at Carnegie Mellon University before moving to Austin. Since then he has been working as a painting instructor with Totally Cool Totally Art while working on various other projects, some commissioned and some just for the joy of making art.
Rachel Ditzig is a mixed media artist and Totally Cool Totally Art’s graphic designer and community outreach organizer. In 2021, they graduated from Texas State University with a degree in Theatre Performance and Production. Recently, they spend much of their creative efforts making music, but like to pursue many creative fields including video production, writing, digital art, and theatre.
